A major multi-year agreement that deepens our long-standing partnership and expands Kahua's investment in the future of cross-platform .NET development.
We are pleased to announce a major multi-year agreement with Kahua that deepens our long-standing partnership and expands their investment in Uno Platform. This US $2 million commitment strengthens Kahua’s adoption of Uno Platform and Uno Platform Studio, giving Kahua’s engineering teams a unified way to deliver modern, cross-platform applications in the age of AI.
Kahua, a leader in capital program and construction project management, has relied on Uno Platform and .NET to modernize their product experience and move away from traditional, fragmented multi-stack development. Using Uno Platform, they shipped a full production application five times faster than originally planned – demonstrating how a single codebase, combined with the right tools, can outperform conventional native stacks.
Kahua's team will share how they're using Uno Platform to modernize mission-critical applications.
Today, Kahua runs one codebase across web, desktop, and mobile with performance that exceeds that of their previous WPF application, while significantly reducing maintenance overhead and unifying developer workflow.
Kahua recently introduced their own AI solution, kBuilder Canvas, enabling customers to turn ideas into working applications rapidly. As early adopters of AI-driven development, they sought a tooling partner equally committed to forward-looking innovation – and chose Uno Platform for the long term.
Uno Platform enables us to advance our product strategy with greater speed while upholding the performance, reliability, and architectural standards required in an enterprise environment. Consolidating on a single .NET codebase has materially improved our delivery efficiency across every platform we support.
Uno Platform Studio: The Agentic Visual Environment
With this agreement, Kahua is making a strategic investment and is adopting Uno Platform Studio, the agentic visual environment that brings design, code and AI together. Features such as Hot Design, Hot Reload, MCP Servers and Hot Design Agent give their teams a faster dev loop, more predictable delivery, and a streamlined way to build and refine their enterprise applications.
For us at Uno Platform, this partnership represents the culmination of years of collaboration with the Kahua team, built on a large-scale enterprise application used by hundreds of thousands of users in real-world scenarios.
Enterprise teams like Kahua continue to use Uno Platform to modernize legacy applications, simplify their architecture, and integrate AI-assisted workflows into everyday development. We expect this momentum to accelerate as more large organizations standardize on a modern .NET stack for cross-platform delivery supported by AI tooling that speeds results even further.
Kahua is one of the most forward-thinking engineering organizations we have had the pleasure to work with. Their commitment to innovation, their belief in open source, and their relentless push to build better, faster, and smarter constantly challenge us to raise the bar.
The Future Of Cross-Platform .NET Development and AI
Adoption of Uno Platform continues to grow across industries where performance, reach, and development efficiency matter. With our Uno Platform Studio, Hot Design Agent, and MCP servers, teams can design, build, and run applications with a level of consistency and acceleration that wasn’t possible before.
This partnership with Kahua reinforces what we have believed from the beginning: modern cross-platform development should be fast, predictable, and built on open technology. Guided by real customer challenges and innovations in AI-driven productivity, we remain committed to giving .NET teams the most capable and adaptive development experience available.
Uno Platform Studio 2.0 was announced at .NET Conf 2025. You can read more about it at our launch blog post. We welcome you to try Uno Platform Studio today.
